New version of the PS3 coming...possible the 40GB

Sony has made an FCC filing for a new version of the PS3 of some kind. There isn't any official word on which one it is, but a logically guess would be that this is the rumored 40GB, $400 PS3.

I do. A big part of getting the PS3 is being able to finally free up a bunch of shelf space from my old and dying PS2, so I don't want to get the $400 one because its backwards compatible.
 
I will get this one as soon as i can cuz i've already played like every ps2 game ever and my ps2 still works perfect after 5 years
 
It's offical, the Europeans will be the first to recieve this downgraded PS3 model.

It only has 2 USB Ports, No card slots, and NO backward compatiblity.
