dont take what information bluevoodu has just given you as a joke.. i have been playing games for bout 7 years now and have been discusing them on the internet for about 3.. and quit frankly this is the best i have ever encountered.. and blu has just opened up a gaming store and is doing quit nicely.. it will just take some time before he gets loaded with games for the newer consoles :p

I dont really believe in a "best system." You can miss out on a lot of great games if you stick to one system. But if you want a system that has a lot of variety then that would be the PS2 and x-box.

i would say ps2... it has the most games and a lot of good ones.. but if i havent bought a system yet i would wait till the new ones come out.. the xbox 360 is supposed to be coming out later on this year. and the ps3 and revolution is rumored to come out sometime in 2006

you really think so?

And for the newer console games....... I am working on it :lol
Its not cheap. that and PC games.

What happens is that with the new console games.... I get them in because people want them... then they end up not buying them. They sit... and the prices drop.
Either that.. or I order only a couple... sell out fast, and can't get anymore.

If I could count on moving more... I would host up more. Eventually I will have tons.

The PC games ... I am working on that. but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in them.

Bv :hat

I agree with that.

I think multiplatform is the way to go. It's more expensive, but you don't have to miss out on great games.

If you can only get two, though, the best combo would either be
PS2/Gamecube
XBOX/Gamecube
PC/Gamecube

PS2 and XBOX have overlapping libraries, so it would be mostly redudant to own both (unless you're a really big fan of both Final Fantasy and Halo, for example).

The Gamecube is a system that has a lot of great games that you can't get anywhere else, though, so that's why it's a part of all three combos. :D

i own a ps2 and an xbox.. and the reason being is just as you said mai.. i am a fan of the ff series and kind of a fan of the halo series..

i have played video games since i was 5 here's the lowdown

PS2: a bunch good games and a good price(150$) good games are grand theft auto 3,4,5/ grand turismo 4,5/ god of war/ratchet and clank 1,2,3/ jack and daxer 1,2,3 and devil my cry 1,2,3

xbox: if you like power and a great on-line play xbox is for you. great games include halo, halo 2/ star wars knights of the old republic/ ninja gaiden

gamecube: the most economically friendly and has the best "playing games" great games include: Mario sunsine/ Mario tennis/ Zelda the wind waker/ resident evil 4/ paper Mario the thousand year door/metoid prime 1,2/ animal crossing/ pikmin 1,2/

the GBA is the portable that sells better then everything Else: Mario and Luigi superstar saga/ wario ware/ advance wars 1,2/ Astro Boy: Omega Factor/The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

and that's that...

Yeah if I would were to get only one handheld it would be the DS since it can already play GBA games and DS games. I dont really care to much for the older GB games.

I see we've skipped over the PSP and DS...

I'd say DS, because you can play GBA games on it, too, and while many DS games are fairly simple, they're also really addictive.

But if someone gave me a free PSP, I wouldn't say no. :D I'd like to get one but can't afford it at the moment.
