how about a ps3,xbox360 and revolution fourms? so people can go to them and get news and updates to their favorite upcoming system?
 
The news only comes out once every so often, they dont reveal everything until right before the release. Therefore the forum would be pointless, nobody would be able to talk about anything except updates so there would be around three topics for a month. Just check the sites and google to read some updates, its not really suitable for an entire forum(not enough to talk about).
 
i dont know what to think what to do. should i eat something>? i dont know. im bout to cry looking at the specs and all.

man this is nuts.

Yeah but see this way not everybody has to go searching for it and can read about it here. Yeah it will kind of slow at first, but once we get closer to release date and then the actual release then it can be a full blown section on the boards. It wont be a whole forum, it will be a section for people to check up on news.
 
Im for it. :)

I was talking to Mega yesterday and he filled me in on all the new stuff coming out. I think it would be a good idea to have something dedicated to the new systems or anything coming out in the future. Im not sure if it needs a whole Section, but it definitley could be a stickied topic.
 
Well the reason I said a section is because once the systems do come out then it just turns into a normal section like all the others.
 
yeah i get what you mean now. Well I think that would be a great idea, since we are going to have to have those sections eventually, right.

Well whatever happens, happens. I just think we could definitley use something about all these new gen systems coming out. I checked out the PS3. :D not to shabby :lol
 
ok... should I make each a new forum section? OR should I include them with other sections?

honestly, we are going to start getting too many sections soon.

Eventually I think use you should just have two sections per company. Like the Nintendo section will just have a section for Revolution and then another for past consoles, for example.

Only problem is that people complain about the forums being too long before.. what about now

Well I like it a lot....

and if people complain tell them then can click the button to close the sections of the board they dont want. Thats what I did. :)
 
but do you think (and everyone else) that we should make some of the forums like the neogeocd.net section with the child boards?

Check out the neogeocd.net section for an idea of what I mean.

I like the "child" boards (I'd call them sub-forums), they keep things more on topic. Also, I haven't seen neogeo.net yet, but I know a place with child boards and a big topic list so you can see all posts from the child boards if you so choose.
 
As I stated in another forum, adding new ones like this just adds to double topics, missed topics, and in my opinion, makes it harder to find what you're looking for.

During times like E3 I pretty much think of the "GC forum" as the "Nintendo" forum, where I can go and check all the news on upcoming Nintendo games as well as systems. And likewise for Sony and MS.
