I want to get a Hockey game for PS2. Right now its between NHL 06 and NHL 2k6. I have read that NHL 2k6 is supposedly better game play but I also heard the rosters arent up to date. On the other hand I read that NHL 06 is really fun and has online updates. Anyone play either of the two? If so which one should I get?

I dont know but ive been wanting one too 
the 2K series is better IMO (and cheaper, $20) so I'm gonna buy that. I just got cable modem so I might get the online for PS2.

in 2K6, I think you can update the rosters via XBox Live....I'm still playing 2K5 and loving it.
If you're going to do some trades for your team...get kovalchuk and heatley. It doesn't matter what they're rated now..I think they have a potential of 99 so that's what they'll be in a couple years.
