Another quake hit SouthEast Asia this Monday morning. It was a magnitude 8.6 quake. Good thing there wasnt another major tsunami triggered.

gees, I say, LET THE ISRAELITES GO!! With that much chaos in that part of the world...someone upstairs is really P-O'ed

judging by what I've heard... It's not pleasant... *smacks sticker to forehead --->CAPTAIN OBVIOUS*

I figured that it wouldn't be pleasant, but Im saying like how would it feel to have everything around you shaking all out of control and you cant keep your balance.

The actual shaking isn't really scary. But just the fact that it can cause damage is what is scary, at least for me. I live in L.A. and have been through the Northridge earthquake in '94, the Landers quake in '92 and there was one back I think in the late '80s but I was to young to remember it and it wasnt that bad. The shaking happens real quick so you're only disoriented for a few seconds. But when it's happening you dont worry about the actual shaking but the debris and the objects that can hurt you.

I see now, just I've never experienced this before and I was just wondering. No earthquakes in Florida.

I actually consider Philadelphia to be one of the most natural-disaster free cities. We don't get anything excpet like thunderstorms and the occasional heavyb rain from a hurricane that is in Florida. But we make up for it in crime. :( :-\ ::) :(
