ok.... is it just me or is Advance Wars Dual Strike (Nintendo DS) hard?

ok... I am talking about the versus and basically playing the computer. They keep using the tag power up in which BOTH of their leaders get to consecutively fight without you taking a turn. So they get double the turns. I am kicking the enemies butt until that happens, then they totally destroy me. Either side can do it... but some how they are able to recover ok from my attack when I do it.


This is a great game and all... I played countless hours of Advance Wars 2.. and was really good at it, but this game is a little harder to get the hang of for some reason...
anyone else have impressions on this? or have difficulties?

I got stuck at about the 10th or 12th level...the first one where the enemy does the tag mode thing. Take note however...I'm not so great at strategy games :p
 
Well I plan on starting the campaign this weekend. Im going on vacation Sunday. I should have plenty of time to play.

I must remind you guys I have never played an Advance Wars game.
