Okay I saw Black and Pearl Blue at my store...

Why would Nintendo release something like this so close to the GB Mirco release??


Btw this is $79.99, just like a normal GBA SP....and it has a screen as bright as the DS

Because it has a brighter backlit screen, duh!! :lol For making more money AND giving people more of a choice. If I were to buy a gameboy I would want as much options as possible. I can go for a sleek new GB micro, or this cool looking SP. It's all about choice and milking the GB.
 
i think nintendo is running out of fresh ideas, of course thats my opinion, but they just keep coming out with versions of the GBA, they really havent come out with anything thats innovative in the past couple of years, of course you could disagree
 
the DS is really nice.... I've been digging that... while simplistic, it is a bit innovative.

I dont think it's because they are fresh out. More like they dont want to because it still sells. But at least the DS is a step in the right direction.
 
the ds is currently my favorite system..and not just out of handhelds.the games that are coming out such as mkds,sonic rush,animal crossing,and metroid prime hunters are the games that i am most interested in.
 
ok, honestly, who in the world who is interested in the gameboy hasn't boughten an SP yet? Who I ask you, if you buy ANOTHER incarnation of GBA, just because the screens realitivly brighter, your nuts, you should be thrown into a mental institution for life for wasting 80 bucks on something you already have.

aww... people do that all the time though.

I have Phantasy Star Online and PSO Ep 1/2 PLus on the Gamecube :)

I have the original GBA and GBA SP. I'm actually interested in seeing the newer SP... and GB Micro... Ihaven't seen the micro yet.
