My roomate said that they were straight out of the 80's and should come with spandex...

Personally, if I had a spare $2,000 I'd buy them both. :D

Nice guitars.

so..whats wrong with the 80's? :lol

Great time with great music, but yah they do look retro. Still awesome imo though.

I actually have one similar to those, it's black now though (painted over the original finish). B.V. has seen it many times.

actually... it looks pretty cool now as some of the black paint wore thin... so some pink is coming through :lol

its actually somewhat "industrial" looking (IMO at least). I like it :D

Sweet axes dude! Ehh, BC Rich is not very popular these days, nor is Ibanez....The dudes I know all love ESP/LTD and some PRS. I personally dig Ibanez cause you can still get a nice quality Japanese made axe for less than a grand. They have some really nice trems too, there always nice and flush and they stay level no matter how hard you dive on them. Guitars rule!! :D

One of my favorite things about my Warlock is that it has the Grover Rotomatic mini tuners and older Edge (not the low profile one) trems that came standard on most Ibanez guitars in the mid-90's. Edge trems are far more comfortable to me than standard Floyds since all of the edges are nicely rounded. The pop out bars and heat treated hard steel inserts also seem to keep from wearing longer than standard Floyd bridges.

Thanks for the comment, B.V. I kinda like the industrial/grindcore beat-up look to my guitar. Let me see if I can get a pic posted.

I'll see if I can get a better picture of the guitar alone soon when I get a digital cam.

And here's my older, cheaper platinum model.

Wow dude, nice axes! I like them both but that black one is just killer! Very sinister/evil vibe to it.
Yea I agree about the edge pro trem, they are fine pieces of machinery. I seem to always have some kind of problem with original Floyds but I never had any problems with Edge's. I also hear rave reviews for the ZR trem by Ibanez, I'm sure it's just as slick and comfy as the Edge.

P.S I swear I remember BV saying he had an ESP EXP, if this is true I'd like to get my hands on that :D

Thanks for the compliments.

Quite honestly, between B.V. and I, we've spent a small fortune on guitars and amps. It'd prolly make ya sick the stuff we've been playing through. However, I'm part of Harmony-central's rack forum. There are some people on there that have rigs approx. eight times the size of mine. I bet they have a lot of versatility, I'd hate to try to move those refridgerator sized rigs though.

Ahh man, my rig is pathetic right now. I'm trying to decide over a VOXadv15 or a Roland Cube 30, they both seem good for little practice amps. But later on I am definitely picking up some sort of Tube stack, maybe a Peavey or Marshall or Soldano or Bogner, ack, to many choices!!

P.S Do you guys know guitar theory and all that good stuff or do you just jam hehe??

Little of both, we've both had lessons, but have both done a lot of just jamming out too. Before you even consider getting a stack, make sure that you can fit a 4x12 cabinet in your car or trunk. Otherwise, get either a 2x12 combo amp or a 2x12 speaker cabinet to put the head on. 2x12 cabinets sound great in my opinion and can pump out a lot of volume. A comparable 4x12 with the same speakers is only 3 db louder than a given 2x12 cab. 4x12 cabinets are nice if you have the room, they can be really inconvenient to move and/or store though.

I've got essentially the same system set up as I did before, but I have consolodated it down to two 4u rack cases and threw a Rocktron MIDI Mate in to replace the Abacus.

Here are updated pictures that I took of my rig today (testing out my digital camera).

any more I just jam.  I used to know all the theory.... but I actually stopped enjoying guitar after I learned theory.  I just jam now and play by ear.  I have to play things out and hear them out... but imo its more fun.

by all means ..... LEARN the theory.  You will need it.

I'll post my rig in a bit :)

Oh yea BV I am learning all the theory, intervals, scales/modes, chord progression, phasing, etc. I am having a blast composing my own solos over my own chords :D Now all I need is better gear and I'll be in guitar heaven.

P.S Grinder dude, you have some majorly nice gear. Mesa rules!

Heh, bringing back this old topic...

And there's my Washburn "Dime" signature guitar with a Bill Lawrence designed Keystone K500 MS bridge humbucker.
Gotta love semi-transparent finishes over flamed maple.

And somewhat off-topic, but related...  I got me a new toy.

Ah, that bottle has been sitting there for a few weeks. I've only had a couple Jack & Cokes since the night I bought it.
Yes, that's a Corona with lime on the other side. heh... I'm of legal age. I can enjoy a drink now and then. :D

Haha, yea I got smashed on Thanksgiving, it was great fun. Jack and coke is good but I am more of a sweet, margerita kind of guy :D and Corona......yummm.....
