PC vs Consoles, part MCCXIIII

Personally I like all good games, no matter what system they are on. If you really like PC games, Microsoft has some goddies coming your way. There is a $20 adaptor that will let you use up to 4 X360 controllers on one pc. They also launched gamesforwindows.com and a new magazine. DirectX 10 is going to be sweet for PC gamers and there are some wicked 3D cards coming soon. XNA is cross platform for indie developers and is completely free. Look for that soon this christmas.

PS. The 360 is a blessing for PC gamers, because it is made by Microsoft. Microsoft's xbox controllers will all work with the pc. even the racing wheel (which is really a great controller ). Vista will get ports of xbox games as well.
 
Consoles are for less technically knowledgeable people who don't want to spend mad cash. Don't forget a lot of great franchises (particularly from the big N) don't make it to the PC.
 
I like both, but I will always like consoles more. Why? couch, big tv, big speakers, and ease of use. However, imo, some genres just work best on pc, such as massive open ended rpg's like MW/Oblivion, rts's, and shooters.
 
My personal prefrence is PC. I love console though. like he said unless ur gonna spend mad cash then its a waste. Console on price. Pc for everything else.
