Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest

Hey, the actor for Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) had a lot of accidents. He broke his arm, his back, a finger, both fingers, his nose, a rib, a toe, and a wrist, and he cracked his skull three times! That is a lot. :o

Saw it at midnight :D Ending sucked, though.

...Ok, so it wasn't as bad as, say, Episode III, but it wasn't the greatest. It stopped when it didn't look like it would stop.

(By the way did you learn that from that TV guide special? That's where I saw that PotC fact :D Awesome.)

The ending did not suck, I'm sorry guys. I've been hearing that for days, because nobody likes a cliff hanging ending sadly... If you ever watched The Empire Strikes Back or Back to the Future II for the first time, you'd say the same thing probably.

Btw, part 3 starts filming next month...

Episode 3 is tame in comparison. Why even compare this to Star Wars?

Imho, this sequel was extremely well written and one of the better sequels of films I've seen in this entire decade. I havent been this awed with a sequel since The Mummy Returns and LOTR The Two Towers in terms of presentation.

Also, this movie broke the box office sales record for this decade by $132 million...even beating Star Wars Episode 3....and both LOTR sequels...Spider man 1 and 2 even...and more...

wait a minute... Episode 3 was awesome :lol

I can't wait to see this movie... I haven't been able to yet.

Bv :hat

I'm broke. :lol Well, at least until my first paycheck. I can't wait to see it though.

I thought so too! I don't know why everyone keeps saying it was horrible. :(

Not trashing it, but Kirby comparing Pirates to Sci-fi classic is a bit too much

PotC ,for a sequal, was actually pretty good

I thought Episode 3 was good when I first saw it, but then I saw it again and it just was...not that great

I highly doubt all of that is true. If he broke his back, there's a high chance his acting career would be over. And at the most, the movie would have been cancelled for a while if even half those injuries happened.

I actually heard about him breaking his back. I think it was a long time ago though, not during filiming.

Supposedly he broke his back before his acting career really took off. Supposedly just after he got out of rehab he got the job as Legolas or whatever. I dunno, I've heard about it too, that's the most I can remember. :lol

As I stated previously I totally dug this movie. My love for Keira continues strong as does my love and appreciation for Johnny Depp savvy? :lol

I wonder if Squaresoft has anything to say about the Cragon? :lol

They actually filmed much of 3, while filming 2.  3 is to come out May '07 :)

It had a good cliffhanger ending, making many anticipate 3 (like me) I'm sure. Can't wait to see what happened to Jack ;)

I want to see the movie.... no time yet :)

I really did not like the movie, but thats just me i guess! I really enjoyed the first one but this one did not grip me as well as the previous. I think what happened was i just came into the theatre with too high of expectations! I did laugh at a lot of parts but I just didn't find the story that interesting. I actually liked the ending because it gave the movie that little umph so hopefully the 3rd will live up too my expectations! I guess overall it was ok! haha
