"Huh?" you say, confused by the very prospect of the Mass Effect trilogy getting the film treatment. Dont' worry buddy, we're right there with you. The BioWare space RPG may be getting just that, though, according to Mass Effect 2 project director Casey Hundson in a recent interview with MTV. "Obviously we have a tremendous amount of interest from people in Hollywood to make a major motion picture about Mass Effect," Hudson said.

Thankfully, Hudson followed up his statement with a conditional position for the possibility of a Mass Effect film. "The most important thing for us is, we don't just want to see a movie get made ... we want to see a great movie get made, if it's going to get done at all." We have but one humble request should a movie ever be made of the series: it goes fully 3D -- if only for text trees in the third dimension.

*faints*
Now I gotta get the games and play through them >.< But i've heard great things about them, and the fact that they're BioWare- :D

With the massive plot that revolves throughout Mass Effect (and the amount of chatter between everything... just like all RPG"s), I'm not surprised at all to see this gaming-epic to be put out on the big screen. It certainly has what it needs to do so...

But... Who will play Shepard... if he/she is customisable???? 0_o

Is his physical appearance besides his outfit and gear customizable? I've seen him several times, but all with the same face.

Well, true that is Strubes. They use ONE set for Shepard in the game previews and box art.
I was actually pondering they check out and choose the best designed char. from peoples profiles... Now that'd get a LOT of attention.

He's customizable. They just use a default for all of the trailers and gameplay demos for character/brand recognition I assume.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. I'd suppose if they do this movie, they'd choose an actor who most looks like the character they portray Shepard as being.
