I figured there should be a place for everyone to post the stats of their rig.

I have an HP Pavilion a350n converted (almost) to a gaming rig.

Pentium IV 2.8 GHz w/8KB L1 Cache and 512 KB L2 Cache
ASUSTeK motherboard, model P4SD-LA
2x256MB Crucial Smart Modular DDR-SDRAM PC2700 (512) (Soon to replace with 2x512 Crucial PC3200)
Realtek AC'97 Audio
Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
160 gig 7200 RPM HD (only 145 is usable, other part is for system recovery)
7-in-1 Media Card Reader/Writer
HP 300i/NEC ND-1100A 4x DVD+R/RW
Cyber/Argus 48x CD-ROM
Other unimportant stuff.
 
well... I built my machine April of 2003....

hard to believe I have had it for over 1 year.

Anyway..... here we go:

I have a Bluevoodu machine:
Antec Soho 2 tower case & 400 watt power supply
1 80 gig western digital hard drive (special edition 8mb cache) 7200 rpm
1 120 gig (same as above)
Asus P4G8X Deluxe motherboard
Pentium 4 - 2.4 ghz chip
2x512meg kingston PC2100 DDR ram (if you can't add... 1 gig total)
microsoft intellimouse explorer
PLanar Media 9 Monsoon flat panel speakers with subwoofer (nice... very nice... too bad level 9 is no more... I think)
and a NEC flat screen CRT monitor (17 inch.... I do not like flatpanel displays... they lose color)

and a bunch of other stuff :)

Definately rebuilt a few times since the last post. Plan to take the old hardware listed in the old post (once I get RAM and a hard drive for it) and turn that into a nice server.

dang.. now my computer is getting close to 3 years old... and it still plays Half Life 2 at full capacity.

I can still drop an extra 3 gig of ram... and it still has a bit of upgrading that can be done....

Heh, not quite sure. May set it up to render video, may set it up to host files and such, possibly a web/game server. I'll figure it out once it's up and running :D

Nice computer you have there Nova.

I think I may have to take advantage of eVGA's Trade-Up program to exchange my 7800GT for a 7900GT or GTX, depending on the price.
