Poster Archetype

This is a thread to talk about the different poster archetypes in detail...such as the Spammer,the Intellectual,the quasi-intellectual,the observer...and so forth.I do not know if anyone will be interested in discussing this topic,and where(if anywhere)they fit in to these archetypes.We shall see how it goes.......
 
Yeah I agree. Labels don't help and can only alienate the people who are considered "spammers" even though they aren't.

But if you must, I am all the above. But it all depends on my mood.

I think you can lock your own threads. But what if someone else has an opinion on this?? Let's see where thsi one goes.

Hope it doesn't mean idiot..cause I think I mighta just made myself look like one. :lol
 
it means a semi-intellectual..an almost if you will...like people who use big words to look smart..I have not encountered many of these,but they do exist.I cannot think of any examples from this board..which is a good thing.
 
I like bigs words. Not to sound smart, but because sometimes people forget how vast the English language really is.
 
I would expect you to do the same for me.Most of us fluctuate between a few set types when posting..or so I have noticed..of course we bring our own personal style to any basic point of view which effects the way we post..I find this interesting.


I agree Dart many large,and largely overlooked specialty words can accomplish the same job that would take many more words if not used.Some people use words in the wrong context,or when its not necessary..these where the type of people I was describing.
