Dominating the news cycle this morning is this video clip from U.S. president George Bush's visit to Iraq yesterday, when an Iraqi journalist hurled both his shoes at Bush during a press conference.

His choice words for the president?
"It is the farewell kiss, you dog.
 
I heard on the news or whatever that throwing shoes at a person is like the lowest insult over there... Don't know how true it is, but that's kinda funny.

Showing someone the bottoms of your feet is supposedly the equivalent of giving someone the finger. Its a way of saying "you're beneath me, I'm better than you" or whatever.

All joking aside, that guy threw a mean shoe. Seriously, if that would have hit Bush he could have broken his nose. :lol
 
Bush is on his way out as president,but he would certainly be a force to be reckoned with in competitive Dodge Ball ! :lol

I saw it on the news over here. And from what heard, apparently the Shoe was thrown for all of America and was supposedly a good thing for him to do!

Id on;t really care if it was good or not, that Shoe throw pwns just like Bush's reactions appear to be.
