I need help! My PS2 fell over and now it only reads games with purple bottoms. I have tried changing the angle of the laser but in all the pictures i have seen they only have one white gear. My PS2 has two of them. Of course, it could be something else. :?
 
hmmm.. onlly purple games huh? isnt that sports games? no maybe action games, ahh i cant remember but anyways. what model is your playstation? the first generations have two and the newer ones have one.
 
Purple games are the ones that dont take up enough space to take advantage of the DVD roms and can still fit in a traditional CD rom.
 
thats weird. Most people have trouble with the Ps2 reading the Purple games.

Yours only reads them.

You didn't change anything yet did you? With your Ps2 hardware that is.

I don't understand it myself.  I got the PS2 in one of those value packs with two games and two controllers.  They only thing i've done is move those little white gears that change the angle of the laser.  I put it to the original position and it still didn't work.
