PS2 Survival Horror Game: Siren; Recieves a remake for PS3

This game sucked on PS2 and I am sure it will suck on PS3! It had a very creepy atmosphere and the enemies were very freaky, but the gameplay was just horrible, absolutely horrible!

Haha, well, you must be more patient than I am! I really do think the game had a lot of potential, so maybe I should not be so hard on the new one. Because, man, if they could take those characters and atmosphere {some of the scariest I have seen}, AND include good, somewhat logical, gameplay; it could be a great game!

Guess what boys and girls? The Japanese PS Network has the PLAYABLE DEMO of this game already and yours truly is downloading it as we speak.....

Sweet, man! Let us know how it is.

Okay amazing presentation, American voice actors with Japanese subtitles. This game is VERY dark, barely no light, since the demo takes place in the middle of the night during a storm. Controls are pretty odd, if you get knocked down, you have to shake the SixAxix to quickly get back up. Environments and detail is quite impressive. I do feel the response of the controls need a bit of work, but this is a demo of course.

I've never played the original game, but this was very bizarre. Otherwise, it's pretty freaky. Along the lines of "The Grudge"

Well, that sounds pretty good so far. And I agree, the first one reminded of the Grudge, too.

New screen shots.

Oh and in case you're wondering, those stilled screen shots look like the game in motion. No fancy camera tricks here. Very amazing shadow effects.

Yeah the first one was pretty freaky and having to guide the other characters and save them was absolutely horrible and made me hate the 1st one even though it was a nice looking game and from what ive seen from thost links up above this might actually be a hit now on the PS3. I just hope they changed some of the annoying parts and didn't just repackage it with better graphics for the PS3.

Gimmicks are bad, m'kay.

Looks like the game was finally released in three forms. Downloadable from the PS Store for $39. Buy the game itself at $39 at a store, or download each episode for $14.99 (similar to how they did Tomb Raider Anniversary on 360). Yet you save $5 if you buy the full game.

Hey I actually liked the Demo of this game, I didn't like the first one to much but for some reason this demo was kind of fun. It might be cause of the graphics or cause I have grown as a gamer since the last one came out.
It seems like I was a little kid when the last one came out for some reason even though I was in my teens.

Ick. You know how you replay a game again and you just hate it? This is one of those moments. I really need a new Ps2 controller now...XD
