Yeah....I don't use Gamesharks. Never saw a point in them, really.

true, cheat codes take the challenge out of the game and sometimes the fun

With all due respect guys, yes the Gameshark can spoil some of the fun, this is why I only use one lightly for extra gold in RPG's,or perhaps for unlimited Ammo or Magic points.Let's say for an argument you want to purchase a suit of armor and the price is $25,000.The first thing I'd normally do is dig out my masamune and head for the nearest Field or forest and start killing monsters left and right for hours on end in order to make that amount of scratch,I don't want to sound lazy, but what if you're only averaging say,$5-$10 a fight?

Should I quit work and start collecting unemployment in order to create the time I would need to overcome such a huge task?Dart might make beg to differ on this, but "The Legend Of Dragoon" is a perfect example.Early in the game you can purchase an item called the "Ultimate Wargod" accessory for $10,000.The Milwaukee Bucks could win the championship before I can gather enough coin for that item.

In all fairness, you would probably acquire a fair amount of random "Drop Items" to sell for doing all that fighting, but c'mon.

well i was able to get enough money to buy it later on in the game, is a signal that you are not suposed to buy it as the game starts (even though the ultimate wargod takes the fun out of the game too).

if you don't have time for grinding and getting money in a RPG how do you have time to beat dungeons and whatnot? usually RPGs are very balanced in the price, it usualy goes along with the area you are in so you don't have to spend that muh time grinding (i know i've played all final fantasy games to know this ) sometimes they are not so balances but when this happens it means that you can comeback later to buy the item once you find an enemy that gives more money (this happens in tales of the abyss too)

Hi Zidart,That's a very good point, now I understand better what Dart was trying to get across some time ago.

They add tons of fun I guess such as in Melee playing as those other characters or in Brawl as the primids and such...
It's funny because Gamesharks only use code that's on the game disc already, let alone code from a game on an entirely different system that came seven years after.

I know what your saying,I was just kind of hoping that the backwards compatability thing would work, but that's a point you made,I didn't know that.
