How does this game play versus RBFF, or RBFFs?

How would you compare it to other neo fighters... move wise... execution..etc?

On CD, it is a very quick loader... faster than RBFF or RBFFS.

It does not have as much by way of fight introductions, transition screens, etc, which I enjoy looking at personally.

The graphics are right on, and controls are tight.

In my personal opinion, it is a wonderfully spelendid game, however RBFFS takes the trophy by just a margin, due to the Blue Mary video when it is all over.

Definitely a must have for any Neo CD gamer.

Thats very true..but for gameplay I think it is far superior to RBS. Alot of the moves have better priorities, combo easier, and seem superior to me. The break shots are very well done as well, I seem to win alot of games with them.

I like the updated moves for most characters as well..Terry Bogards df,d,f+B move is far superior to the one he had in the other Real Bout games for example...it combos much easier and takes the opponent by surprise a bit more..less predictable I'd say.

Many characters have similar updated moves as well..and overall I feel its a tighter, more balanced package than previous Real Bouts.

However..for overall presentation...eye-candy wise..Real Bout Special takes the trophy. But for competetive play I'll stick with RB2.

The great thing about RB2 is that it's feel and handling is unlike the other two, especially as compared to the original Real Bout. The reason I say it is great, is that they are all different enough to warrant owning all three versions.

Real Bout 2 is a supreme, quick action fighter.

Real Bout Special is a beautiful visual experience with the uber cool Blue Mary video as a reward.

Real Bout is great with its triple plane fighting.

Any Neo gamer must have them all.
