Reserve your Wii on the 13th.

GameStop and EB will be taking reservations on the Wii on Friday the 13th. The allocations will be about 36 max per store, so get there early just in case there's a line. :) The deposit will be $50.

I'm not sure if this is ok BV but I just thought I'd give the heads up.
 
Normally I'd go out of my way to reserve one, but I'm pretty strapped for cash right now. My job won't start up till November, leaving me with whatever's left in my bank account for gas and oil changes.
 
A buddy of mine in california reported his local GameStop is only getting 14 systems. Is this true Mai for some stores?
 
yeah... Game Addiction will be taking pre-orders on this as well... I am confirming the total I can get but I think it's around 14. So if you all want to pre-order from here... let me know. 2 are taken so far :)

I can get games and accessories as well.

I went to a gamestop today to preorder and they sold out after 12:00, guess the wii has eluded my grasp for now

The allocation varied by store. Some in my district only received 12, while others got 36. My store has historically been a pretty big Nintendo store, so we got 36, all of which were pre-ordered by 11 am this morning.

yes... most likely I'll receive them on launch day as well :)

historicaly... I've received launch items early though.

Cool I'll see if I can work something out with my social secretary and chief financial officer (wife :p) and maybe I'll be able to pre order that bad boy.

Just email me, ok? See the wii pre-order thread to see what I am getting. 3-4 Wii systems are pretty much taken. SO.. if you can, try to see if you can pre-order :)
