Resident Evil DS Reviews in!

Don't ya' hate it when ppl complain about RE's controls or camera angles? I don't think the games would have been half as fun if you could simply maneuver your way out of a fight at ease. What always scared the crap out of me was not being able to control my character for squat, because in real life, true terror would have the same disorientating effect I think.

That's how I always saw it and I was always perplexed as to why people complained by the angles and controls. Oh well, cant please everyone.

Unfortunately in video games and movies everyone's a know it all. All I hear is how everyone could do it better, well, why don't they? ::)

you won't hear that from me. Nothing is wrong with this game, been defending it the whole friggin' thread :lol

Well, I think that the camera angles are only a problem sometimes when the angle changes suddenly. But other than that, it is Resident Evil.

*points to Resident Evil 4* *cough*

When you say *coughs* Resident Evil *coughs* we talk about 10 years ago....RE4 is a whole different feel of gameplay at times imho. Especially using the first person perspective from time to time

I never had a problem with that since the controls made it that you dont lose control. That's why I was always wondering how people could not like the controls and angles. No matter what direction your character was facing up always meant up no matter what angle you were looking at. I thought it worked well.

I like RE4 but I still like the old style RE alot too. I loved how they did RE for the cube, a new look but with the same akward, scary, controls and camera angles. That game almost made me  :-X my pants...haha

Maybe I should! Yet my last review was a bit too long....got to try harder!
your last review was too long? Only at the store, man :)

at the Game Addicts.... it's as long as you want to make it.

Bv :hat

Well right now the biggest problem I have, is I cannot see what the multiplayer mode is like without another person to play against. If I had the results of that, then I would be fully prepared for a great review.

Otherwise, all I can tell you is about the single player modes and the master of knifing mode :(
