Personally, I don't. Ever since Wavebirds on the GC, I haven't liked rumble. I find it too distracting, in fact. It takes me out of the game more than it immerses me into it. So I always turn it off.

What about the rest of you?

I dunno, sometimes now, I find myself looking at the 360 controller going, "Wtf, enough rumbling?"

I kinda like the Wii rumble, though, since it had to be weak to not mess with the cursor, it feels great and isn't distracting.

when playing games, yes

on the wii internet channel, no

when your typing it rumbles as u move the cursor from letter to letter it hurts after a while

I don't like rumble, ever since I played Auto Modelista and my wireless controller keeled over the first dirt track I went on. It was overkill and I haven't liked it since. :P

Yeah, I like it too. Most times I don't even notice it's there, but I do notice if it's not there. In many games it becomes part of my response stimulus. For example, if I'm getting hit in a game, I don't always notice the visual or audio clues, but the rumble lets me know something's hitting me, even if I can't see it.

I love rumble, and it's a must have for me in FPS. Like stealth said, that's sometimes the only way I know I'm getting hit.

Eh, it depends on the game. I like it in racing games. It adds to the intensity of the race. I hate it in RPGs. Especially in cut scenes. Absolutely useless and pointless. When playing an FPS, it's just like how Stealth said.

i have to admit, when m in a ghost in halo, its annoying when the rumble never stops when you shoot

Oh yea, I agree that does get quite annoying. My arm feels like it's still shaking for a while afterwards.

I rarely feel it either. I'm strong enough to hold a controller without feeling rumble effects after I set it down. :lol

The only time it has ever bothered me was in CoD4. I have my sensitivity set pretty high and the rumble sometimes throws me off a little bit. That's the only time I ever actually take it off.

Sometimes, if I can't make it to the gym, I hop on a turret in Halo and just fire away for 15-20 minutes... :D

Just Kidding. I know what you mean Hines, sometimes it is a bit much, but that is kind of the point. Shooting an automatic weapon should make your hands a little unsteady, so it adds a bit of realism, at the price of comfort.

I agree with Dart though, rumble in cutscenes is just plain dumb.

I remember in God of War 1, I used the "Boomerang" controler (Cant remember the name of it >_>) and I got an earthquake everytime I smacked someone. In GOW2, There wasnt as much rumble. For me, at least, its the biggest reason that GOW2 wasnt near as good as the original.

The boomerang controller was the coolest one ever. My cousin bought 2 of those and that's the only ones we used when I went over his house.

Honestly, its cool at times, otherwise no. For example, Wii Guitar Hero 3 with rumble was downright annoying and distracting when trying to play.

Yet in fighting games, it's distracting as well.

If I'm playing an action/adventure or flying sim game, then it rocks. Like in Mario or Zelda or Star Fox
