here is the start of it.

I cant imagine what the reactions would be like if he was some how found inoccent

I don't think Canada's ideals on Marijuana has anything to do with Saddam.

Well, that's where the link took me!

Eh, if he's found innocent, he'll never make it off the courthouse steps. Some Iraqi will come up strapped with an AK-47 and dispense some bak alley justice.

I personally think he is guilty. Even if he didn't order the killings. He was the leader of that country and as such he holds the responsibility.

As for Canada's ideals on pot, uh, I have no comment...  :lol

He was badgering one of the judges, and I'm surprised the Judge did not get pissed at all.....yet they said if he continues to badger the court room, it will lead to automatic death penalty....

I hope they fry his ass....that man is a slime ball and a liar for over a decade

Nah they already said he's gonna swing from the gallows. If he's lucky his neck will break and he'll go quick.

Good, because his goat smellin butt needs a bath...in HELL

I think its a joke. They may as well just kill him, and not make a mockery of the judicial system. It's impossible for him to get a fair trial.

By the way, what exactly is he being charged with? The last time I checked dictators, even tyrannical ones, did not have to answer to the American courts for their actions...

It's not through an American court. I forget which court it is, but it's not from us.

He's being charged in ordering the mass murders of Shiite Muslims back in the 80s. And just in case you didn't know, it's the new Iraqi government that has him on trial. There is not a single U.S judicial member over there.

BTW, did anyone hear that one of Saddam's attorneys was found dead today?? he was kidnapped out of his office and shot two times in the head and was dumped in front of a Mosque.

Wow, ground breaking news....one of Saddam's lawyers was MURDERED last night! Somebody doesn't want Saddam to get out alive ;)
