For the past few days i have been wondering...since the popular us video game The Sims Online died a few years ago have there been any other video games just like that style to play...cause 10 bucks a month was a little outrageous don't ya think lol...i been lookin for a new game like it to play for awhile now..any advice?

I subscribed to TSO for about 2 months after the initial subscription ran out. If you want massive role playing, there's always World of Warcraft... Of course, instead of modern peoples, you run around as an orc trying to smash stuff (or a knight, or an elf... whatever). I have run across another game kinda like a virtual place to just randomly wonder and talk to people. I don't recall the name of the game so I'll have to get back to you on it.
