Slow...and boring

recently (in my opinion) this forums has been very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very slow. Not only has the topics just been slow..people arn't posting on most of them...and some posts stay the last post for like 3 days! Hmmm we need to get something going here! MORE POSTS!!!!! I bet if there was a spam thread everyone would go there! lol...or at least me lol
 
Spam threads are my speciality.

Enough bragging, what you're saying is sort-of correct. The boards have been slower, but I predict a big surge of people coming in, around Saturday. (It's the school holidays for us Aussies, y'know.)

Wait, DBP, you're Australian, aren't you?

The spam has been insane lately I agree, but we really need some good topics, but what would be a good start?
 
well it usually picks up in the "post it post it" threads Ive noticed when it comes to a slump like this

yeah... it's the summer time lows :) This normally happens... but if people post up... it will pick up.

People can't wait for others to post topics :) They need to just post it up :)

I'm trying to respond to posts as well :)

btw.... by posting up... I mean we need people posting in more than 1 section and more than 1 post. That's the only way to generate traffic / use... is when there are topics to reply to (that are interesting... not just random blurbs) :)

I think we're in a drought. At any rate, we'll see massive boosts in posts and threads once the Wii and PS3 come out. I just hope we can get something going until then. :)

another problem it seems is that we don't really get "new members" very often

alot of times it just seems they are posting links to advertise and then leave
though I have seen some new members actually posting around
