SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters DS??

Apparently someone over at digitpress.com said

"Just read over at insertcredit.com that SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters DS is in development."

If this is true, then we have ourselves a winner....
 
just curious... why would it make the DS an obvious winner? :)

would this be the same as the NGPC version?

You tell me....Take the NGPC hit....throw in DS graphics....add more cards for a total of 500+.....

Why would it make it a winner? This game should have been on GBC originally when it was released during 1999. Since I felt that with the Pokemon craze at that time....the portable market would have been greater, plus SNK would have not suffered serious money loss if this was made on GBC.

Now Nintendo finally understands how superb this NGPC really was. Meaning, that they can truly conquer the portable market again. Since I'm sure SNK verison and a Capcom verison will be created.
 
wow.... 500 + total cards?!

How many were in the old one... I Thought it didn't break 150... I Could be wrong though.

will it be for sale out in the US though?

exactly! We got jipped on CFC 2 remember? They released it over in Japan for NGPC. Yet we never saw the light of day of it, because NGPC was already removed from stores!
