Personally I blame that darn rap music all the teenagers listen to, but the debasement of the english language is reaching epidemic levels.

I blame the internet and I blame rappers. Yet who started this crazy mistake? Today's youth. A majority of these lingos originated from young teenagers.
 
Haha, unfortunately we are witnessing our language evolve. Because things like text and instant messaging will only become more prevalent as time goes on, english will adapt to fit the needs of such a culture. Single letters or acronyms that represent words, spelling words as they sound, these things will eventually become the accepted way of writing and speaking.

Still, it can be ridiculous at times. :lol
 
I blame Ubisoft's "Petz" games. Oh how I hate "catz," "dogz," "hamsterz," "dolphinz," horsez," and now "babyz" - BABYZ!! Or else whatever stupid person came up with the concept for the BRATZ dolls. They are horrifying.
 
What's wrong with rap? I know that most rap is crap, like Soulja Boy and Lil' Mama. But what about the good meaningful rap?

How else are we supposed to know what's cool to wear, or how many words can be changed to end with "izzle"?
