I was bored and decided to try and learn how to use fireworks..since it came with my dreamweaver package. This is just a recent picture of me I took tonight after I shaved off my beard I have had for a looong time. I just tinkered with different things to make it look cool. It turned out kinda neat I think heh.

I was trying to figure out how to make an animated gif a while ago..but its confusing the hell outta me... this is what I have came up with..but I cannot seem to figure out exactly how to get the animations to go for the right amount of time..ie..it flashes to fast on one pic I think...oh well..here is my attempt..

I dont see anything wrong with it, I mean looks really good to me.

Here's my attempt, its my online racing name for NFSU. I made this with Photoshop 7.0 though.

actually.... working with speed ... I am not sure.

its different with different editors.

BUT what you need to try for (anyone making animated gifs).... is try to keep the KB as small as possible. That makes for good gifs.
good quality, yet loads good.

Your looks alot better Royce, thats cool. I just downloaded the GIMP yesterday..I'm gonna try and learn to use it for this kind of stuff..people have been telling me its as powerful as photoshop or anything else + its opensource..so yeah..I'm gonna try doing some things with it later maybe.
 
I myslef use fireworks and I have been teaching myself photoshop. To make that gif move easily I assume you copied those pics onto multiple frames. What you most likely did was either not make the same amount of picture, (in other words 1st pic has 3 frames, 2nd has 4, 3rd has 2) or you made the frames like this < 1stpic> then <2nd pic> then <3rd pic> and then you made
<1stpic> again wich would double it's length becuase it's ina loop. So try those and if that doesn't work without actually seeing wwhat you've done there's no way for me to tell.
Also where did you host that?
