ok... I just got this game..... and .... here are my intitial opinions... since I have not passed the 1st stage.
So far, I think the graphics on #1 are better... but the reviewers say its better on SC
A... so I'll give that more time.
The graphics just don't look as high res as before... and I know the Gamecube is capable of better. The Xbox one has the same graphics rating... and I have heard that both are identical down the line... except for a few non-graphical items such as the FMV.
IE IGN give SplinterCell 8.0 and 9.0 on splintercell: Pandora Tomorrow for graphics (Gamecube). I just don't see the improvement yet.
The animations are choppier.... as is the framerate (slightly). BUt I heard all versions suffered from slower frame rates this time around.
The gameplay is faster
... but I still think I like the 1st one better. The directors speak too much in this one......
I also like the voice acting in the the original Splintercell better.
The sounds in Splintercell
andora Tomorrow are awesome. There is a definite improvement there.
we'll see how this turns out... it is still a cool game to play
My expectations could be too high though.
and I miss the "Palm" menu graphics. The menu graphics of SC
A are rather...cheesy.
I wonder if this game was rushed out too fast... or what. Oh yeah.... the Gamecube version was docked points for not having a multiplayer option :
anyone else care to comment?
