Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, came out in '03, they're third gen, all that stuff. They go for $35 new. Back four years ago, they were $30 new! The price goes up? That many people can't still be buying it.
 
That's good for me, as it means the trade-in value for Sapphire is probably still relatively high. I plan on trading Sapphire in towards Phantom Hourglass.
 
^^^ not true. They'll probably give you 8$ for it. But the wierd thing really is; Fire red and leafgreen cost less. :o :?
 
The only thing that I found bad about FRLG is that there was no misingno. :'(
 
And they added natures, EVs, different moves(Charmander with Metal Claw...no), hold items, and a bigger bag. They essentially took away everything that made Kanto, Kanto. Well, R/B/Y land, it wasn't Kanto until G/S/C.
 
oh, false alarm. i thought this might have been a psp by the title

and fhq, those games are still selling well, like halo 2, so they wont lower the price until they need to to move more units

Actually I checked, and you still get $14 trade-in credit for Pokemon Sapphire. Pokemon FireRed is worth $10. Combine that with Pokemon XD (also $14) and I'll have enough to get Phantom Hourglass! Yay!
