Taito finally works on a LUFIA sequel, yet which system will recieve it?

Famitsu revealed that Taito is working on a new sequel to the classic RPG series Lufia, entitled Estpolis: The Land Cursed by the Gods, the game will be produced by the original development team, and Square Enix will be the publisher.

I loooove Lufia, I wonder why they spent so long away from it.
