Tekken 5 gets an upgrade (Arcade only)

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Namco is planning to release an upgrade to the arcade version of Tekken 5 in June, the upgrade will have a revised battle system, plus a new survival and team battle mode.

Ouch, very ouch for PS2 owners at this moment :(
 
survival would only be good to earn money for your card in the arcade, and team battle is too short but would be cool as a versus thing

ps2 has a survival and team battle, as did about every other tekken, so it's not a loss.

Man..I still dont understand why they didn't put those same features in the PS2 verison, that's basically what I was looking for after I got all the characters unlocked.
 
Namco revealed two new playable characters in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, the upgrade of the popular System 258 arcade fighting game. They are Dragunov and Lili. Dragunov is a soldier, he is described as a "human weapon"; and Lili is a singer from Monaco, who uses her dancing skills in combats. In addition, each character will have a large amount of new costumes and accessories. -MagicBox

How can you continously keep upgrading this game in the arcade and not do the same to the console verison? They should of just put everything on the console verison first and then to the arcade verison. I think this is really stupid! I feel like I wasted my money on this! I want the same features on the console verison! >:(

The only thing I can think of is that arcades arent really that popular anymore and are trying to get people to play them. Since the game is already popular on consoles.
 
I wish arcades were popular again.. I used to love going.

Our Putt Putt arcade (very nice arcade) has a ton of games ... and IMO is pretty darn successful.

I miss going to the arcades as well, mostly all the new and good games came out in the arcade first and then consoles, now it just goes straight to the consoles. I remeber playing Mortal Kombat in the arcade, tons of people spend alot of money on this game.

Anyways, Namco needs to put those extra features on the PS2 verison or something, they should of just made the game online so you could update it.
