The DaVinci Code......So Dark The Con Of Man!

Tommy V

I'm Not So Bad, Once You Get To Know Me.
One of the best books I've EVER read is now a major motion picture. Releasing on May 19, 2006. I for one can't wait.

Latest Trailer...

Wow, I just checked out the trailer. It looks great! It even has the guy that plays Magneto in the X-men. :lol

They made a good choice with Tom Hanks playing the lead role, and Hans Zimmer is doing the musical score so that'll be something I'll look forward to as well. :)

Do you think they'll stay true to the book, then? I haven't read it nor heard of it so I can't really make an assumption, there... nice trailer though :)

Ian Mckellan, a.k.a. Gandalf the Grey/White. :lol

A guy I know from work was reading this book. From what I understand of the book's plot I generally wouldn't agree with it's conclusions based on my spiritual beliefs, however, as a work of fiction it seems entertaining at the very least. I'll probably watch the movie before I read the book, if I ever read the book.

It's supposedly a great book. However the plot has been largely debunked for centuries. But if someone can make a buck, they'll recycle anything.

Well from what I can see in the trailers that have been relesed so far the movie will be very true to the book.

As far as Tom Hanks playing the lead role of Robert Langdon, it's not a bad choice but I don't know why I really would have loved to see Hugo Weaving in the role. When I was reading the book, I could tell it was most definitely movie material and I always envisioned Hugo Weaving as the perfect actor to play the suave sophisticated Langdon. :D
