The Hardest Game you've ever played

The one for me would be Kingdom Hearts. I got to the last lvl and quit because i couldn't beat Ansem in the Last battle. The my memory card got messed up so i lost my data.(Sigh) I don't want to restart it all over again. I'll just wait the 5 months for kindom hearts two.
 
well I wouldnt say its the hardest, but the most frustrating game for me is Warcraft 3. Everyone is so good, and Im so bad.... :lol
 
I tried Devil May Cry a couple weeks ago, and I thought that was pretty hard. It might just be because I'm auful at those types of games... lol...
 
I had some trouble in Legaia 2: Duel Saga, I'm not one for levelling up and for that game, you definately need to be levelled up, so I got my ass creamed with an average party. It really tried my patience but I got the hang of it eventually.
 
Ninja Gaiden is really tough, but so long as you don't expect to beat things on the first try, you can get through it okay. This generation around the hardest game I played was probably Contra for the PS2. That game demanded absolute focus and reflexes, and even then some luck was needed. Of all time, well, its hard to say. I never did beat the game "Taz: In Escape from Mars" on my Sega Genesis, or Lazer Invasion on my NES. Come to think of it, I didn't beat a lot of those older games.

Devil May Cry was easy to me, the only boss that I found a probally with was that big ol' spider, the first boss.

I was just about to type that until I read your post! I agree with Retro Hero on this one, this game is just totally too hard! Me and my friend couldn't even pass the 3rd level. I honestly thought that this game was meant to be hard, and frustrat the person that's playing it. Even if you put it on easy its still hard. :-\

I cant even pass the first level. :hh I dont remember the name of it but its the one where you crash land with the plane in the beginning.

I could just about get to the second level, but i'd die straight away. It's harder than any NES game i've played, which is saying something.
 
Just for the record, not that it matters, but I did say Contra before Retro. I don't know why, I just felt the need to point that out.

My friend and I actually beat that game, after much difficulty and many hours of toil. It was really fun once we finally got the hang of it.
 
Most Difficult Game/Game Moment.

We all have them, those games that serve no other appearent purpose then to frustrate and confuse us to no end. Either its trying every moment to get you even more lost parinoid and scared then the first or its straight out just dashing any hopes of finishing it against a bunch of razor sharp claws teeth rocks or blades. Well let the bells ring on the HARDEST game moment in your gaming carreer.

Mine: Simply put was picking up legend of gaia...that game was impeccably good but it would at inregular intervals slam my face into the ground. Either itd be a boss that just played pingpong with my poor char or itd be a maze that was put in just at the right moment to frustrate me.

Very good thread.

I just CAN'T beat Sin's head in FFX after I get on the airship. He keeps kicking the crap outta me everytime. It's made me put the game away for a while. >:( :-\

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - That axel puzzle about an hour or two into the game has just completely stumped me. I just can't do it! It's my gaming Achilles-heel.

And there are tons of old-school game moments that I haven't, to this day, beaten.

The boss of Galactic Attack....he is nearly impossible!Not to mention,that by the time you get to him,most of your continues are gone :)
