That is a minor complaint. And Steam never promised anything, that was all Valve. You wanna get pissed at something like that? Check out the story behind Alpha Protocol. Game was supposed to be released earlier this month, release day came, game wasn't in stores, within the next 24 hours Sega finally releases information that the game has been delayed to 2010.
 
Valve delivered on the L4D2 demo. I have no complaints.

Blizzard on the other hand... I have complaints about Blizzard.
 
Blizzard games take what seems like forever to come out, but at least they don't give out release dates and not hold up. However, I'm still mad about Starcraft Ghost. However, the worst is Polyphony Digital. I remember how many times GT4 was delayed and how many times the release date had been changed. Now GT5 has taken what seems like 10 years but is supposed to finally be here in March of next year.

Hasn't Starcraft 2 taken them almost 11 years soon to be 12? And we still won't get the full game.

I think we have found our new "EA" everyone. This being Activision Blizzard.
