Resistance 2 will support two campaigns, multiplayer battles of up to 60 people, and eight-person online co-op play.

ok, two campaigns has been said in many games. it will be through the same environments, just with different characters and enemies.

That depends, but more often than not, it will be laggy.

if the ps3 has trouble running 8 player online matches for rainbow six vegas, and two player online matches for guitar hero 3, then 60 players will be virtually unplayable.

Warhawk has far larger matches than both of those games, and runs near perfectly. Lag will depend on the game, but being on the PS3 doesn't automatically make the online laggy.

Hmm..I never had trouble with 8 player online matches in Rainbow Six Vegas. And the PS3 supports 20 or so people in online matches with Warhawk without fail. They can pull this off no problem.

Not on fault of the PS3, its the fault on the game. Plus PS3 uses Dedicated Servers something that greatly effects the ping something the 360 does not.

Eight person co-op sounds really awesome! Man, I'd probably get it just for that. And I thought four player co-op for Halo 3 was sweet. ^__^

I would get a PS3 just for this and the first Resistance well they are one of the reasons i want to get one.

Resistance 1 was the first game I played when I got my PS3, and I can't wait for Resistance 2.
