Hello Fellow Gamers,
I have been playing video games for over 20 years. It got me to thinking about how much they have changed with respect to graphics, control, speed, content, and length.Personally,I think over the years from arcades to home systems we kind of lost the little things that made some of the older games truly challenging and fun.
Before strategy guides, the internet, cheat mags, and tv shows dedicated to reviewing games and divulging hints and codes.Although today's games are absolutely awesome in every aspect,I feel that along the way,we somehow forgot the simple thrill of beating games such as "Donkey Kong","Jungle Hunt","Time Pilot","Double Dragon",etc.
Back then,I loved nothing more than getting a big fat roll of quarters and marching my butt up to the closest arcade and spending hours and hours playing "Punch-Out".
I just think that in all the hubbub with today's games, that we forgot just how much fun playing those games were without all of today's info and cheats at our finger tips. How about you?
God bless.
