As rabid media consumers, we're used to teaser trailers, but teaser press releases?

Such a release came down the wire today, with German company IMC announcing They, a "first-person mystery shooter" for PC and next-generation consoles. What do we know beyond that? Well, it has a "haunting single-player mode" with "versatile multiplayer modes," a "unique weapon system that makes you 'love' your weapons," and, uh, "heavy usage of physics."

Even the release date ("2008/2009") is vague. Luckily, IMC will be at the Leipzig Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany in late August to fully unveil the title. Until then, check out the single screenshot and lone piece of concept art and start wondering who (or what) They are/is.

Sounds kind of generic to me, but that's what you get with all the vague references. :lol

Edit: The pics look kinda cool. The top one shows a pretty unique-looking alien.

I'll keep an eye on this game and keep you all posted. :)

Well it's fairly easy to do. You're looking through the character's eyes, not at a static overhead shot.
