Can You Outrun the Crosshairs +
So I have played the demo already and it isn't bad if you like something that has characters that look alot like "Mass Effect's" and if you won't mind getting a headache with the camera angles. I can't even tell you how many times I was randomly swinging my sword trying to move the camera with my right analog stick. The aiming system needs "ALOT" of work since you just have to basically rely on the game to lock onto the target your wanting to hit. I got pretty pissed off at the point when your first facing the goblins that throw grenades/rockets (not sure what it is) at you, I was right next to it and the game kept locking onto a target that was farther away so I finally just had to kill it with a melee attack with my sword. The story wasn't real engrossing or even visually captivating either on the demo and the characters seem real "stiff" I think is the way to put it. Still don't know what your teammates were even doing there since they hardly did anything but yell out "sir" all the time.

I do however love the customization options it allows on the game. By the end of that demo I was already past level 7 and had quite a few items and weapons unlocked. The battles aren't to bad either once you get a semi handle on the camera angles. I must say that all the armor and different items were pretty sweet looking on my character and that was only one small part of the game so the real game is going to have some massive customization I can tell. Even though it has lots of frustration in it with that camera angle I can't wait to try out the multiplayer aspects of it.

If I had to rate this game only off a demo then I would give it a Rent rating unless "UNLESS MIND YOU" your getting it to play multiplayer cause the game will probably be a real fun team based game, so if you like team strategy games then it would probably be a Buy for you.

Once again that was just a rating off the demo which the game might be excellent when it comes our for all I know.

Looks like what I thought came to be true... I was interested in it while I watched my brother played the demo but, even he didn't like it.
Yeah I didn't really even care for anything on the demo except the customization aspect. Pretty boring also overall. Just waiting to see if the multiplayer can somehow salvage the game if they let it come out the way it is right now.

It was basically a dungeon crawling hack and slash game with bad controls and a weird, not too engrossing storyline. They seem to be shoving the sci fi aspect down everyone's throats hoping it could be as great as Mass Effect. No buy for me either.

What was the storyline? LOL

Disappointment. I still gotta wait a few days to download the demo, but I might as well not.

Actually I think it's decent. It starts out slow, but as soon as your character gains more skills, his speed increases. It reminds me of Gauntlet and D&D Heroes a bit. I liked it :)

In all honesty, I really really like this demo. I'm having a really good time playing it.

I just finished it, and I'm definitely getting this game. I had a blast and the customization was really cool.

Oh I thought the customization was cool also but the game itself is very generic and the characters arn't even that well developed. Not to mention the main guy on that demo acts like and looks similar to the main character in Mass Effect.

Generic? I thought they were pretty original in design. Especially the Medic one
Well it is generic in the way your just running around hitting different creatures and there is still just one path that you follow with just different side doors to get extra weapons and items. The weapons are nice but the controlls just killed it for me. The camera alone is going to cause people to not buy this game and not to mention the aiming. Plus I didn't like the class of character I had to play so I was already pissed off about that. (not to mention the Mass Effect looks, seems to close to that game in my opinion just not as good)

Yeah, I heard the camera was terrible, and fighting with the right analog stick gets annoying real fast as well. Just doesn't seem to fit this type of game.

Hey cool, you don't have to like it, I'm just saying that I really did. I didn't have a problem with the camera at all, and I think fighting with the stick is better then pushing stupid buttons. And I did want to play as one of the other characters, but I didn't get irritated just because of that.

I'm really excited to play this game. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I haven't played the demo, which sounds to be a bit of a bust. I firmly believe the full game will have a far richer, and better developed, storyline than the demo really showed. I can't comment on the control issues, not having played it myself, but from what I understand the fun of the game comes from adding your own play style to it. Perhaps in a demo fighting was simple, or basic enough, but from what I've heard the customization (which in the demo sounds neat and fun) of weaponry and abilities plays a prominent role in the battles, forcing players to enact a well crafted strategy based on unique strengths and weaknesses to be successful in combat.

The demo is but a taste of an appetizer, keep in mind, and the main course is what will make or break the meal.

My problem with the controls was that I was constantly trying to use the right stick to look around instead of fight, you know, like you do with most 3D games. Very counterintuitive.

That was my main issue with the game also man, I think I might of liked the game alot better had it not been for that one control.
