My nephew has that Spider-man game and man that controller sucks, hard.

I didn't think the original Xbox controller was bad at all. Well, I only have that controller or a crappy micro one my brother bought and my hands don't fit on it.

I dont agree with the Jaguar and Xbox big controller....I was fine with both. Yet these other controllers are scary..they also need to mention MAD CATZ controllers...oh and don't forget PELICAN...

However, I liked the Jaguar controller was nice with FPS like Wolf 3D, AVP, and DOOM :)

wow... Jaguar got #1, eh? It wasn't that great, but it was helpful in many games. IMO the Dreamcast should have been in the top 3... UNCOMFORTABLE...
Don't get me wrong, I like the Dreamcast.... but that controller was bad news for fighters..etc... I haven't had my fingers hurt since the original nes controllers.

the Jag controller was helpful.... especially for games like Alien Vs Predator, Iron soldier...etc. Instead of scrolling through weapons, you just hit the #button on the # pad contained on the controller.

It was decently comfortable as well.

NOW that is SAD that the Large Xbox controller was #2 :lol :lol :lol

They definitely didn't take into account some of the worst 3rd party controllers..... :lol ... there are some AWEFUL ones they never included... way worse than the Jaguar.

Bv :hat

I thought the DC controller was one of the best controllers ever made. If you think about it, the current day Xbox controller is basically a DC controller, and in my opinion the DC controller bridged one of the largest gaps in controller generations, and did it amazingly well too.

Honestly (and not just because some people think I'm a "hater") I thought the GC controller should have been on there. Admittedly I've never seen most of the controllers listed there, as they all seem to be for obscure system well before my time, or cheezy peripheral controllers that never warranted my attention. But out of the controllers I have used the GC controller seems to be an ergonomic nightmare. The d-pad is way to small, the a button is way too big, the analog L and R buttons are unecessary and annoying, the z button is placed horribly and is tough to press, and for any games other than ones made by Nintendo the controls never felt "tight." Plus the whole thing falls apart after minimal use. Shoddy design, shoddy execution, and with no effort to correct the mistakes, I think it should have landed somewhere on that list.

What gap would that be? Ive been thinking about it and I can't figure out what gap you're talking about. I agree with the GC controller although I dont know about it being easy to break down. Didn't we conclude that you just have bad luck? :lol JK. My controller is still running great. Had it for years.

out of my four gc contollers, only one has broken down, over the course of four years, as compared to my xbox controllers where two broke down over the course of one year, both the gc and xbox controllers had been used excessivly mind you

I gotta disagree on that one BV. I love the design of that controller. I don't really liek my N64 controller. It feels goofy. My Playstation controllers are comfortable too.

I can't say that there is any controller out there that I have used that I really don't like. But the ones on that list are weird.

And the Power Glove?? I thought that was cool!!

If there was a Top Ten BEST controllers list, I'm pretty sure that the GameCube contorller would be on top.

That controller is so freaking comfortable, it's crazy.

i don't like the Gamecube controller i find it to small. Up near the top would be the Logitech Ps2 controler...it's amazing...But I know the power glove got a horrible rating but (for the younger guys) If you lived then and you saw that you would def. want that. Am i rite? that does look pretty cool.....but just the opposite

Maybe on top of the best controllers that could be used in a bonfire. :lol

Seriously, it was so weird for me to hold it. It just didn't feel right. I've tried repeatedly to get used to the gamecube controller, but I just can't. It's so awkward. Maybe it's just because I've been playing PS2 for the last 4 years, but still.

I dont know about it being in the top ten worst but definitly in the top twenty. The only problems I have with the GC controller are the D-pad (Dont know why they put the extra small handheld D-pad) and the Z button. Other than that Im fine with it.
