yes, this is important.... we are upgrading the forums tomorrow. The new update that just came out has A LOT of things fixed, and new features..etc. Many of the features you all won't see.... but its a major update. ANYWAY... here is the deal... this update MAY kill off our themes / skins.... and those themes / skins will have to be remade.

IF the themes become useless.... I will set everyone to the main theme. I will try to restore all the older themes in the future, but this will take me awhile, so we'll have to see what happens. At least for now, just consider ALL THEMES including the neogeocd.net theme to be useless by tomorrow. I will auto switch you all, so you do not have to worry about a thing.

Anyway, heres to "everything going smoothly" :lol

@BV, will it also fix the problem I periodically have?? Sometimes I go to the site and I get an internet explorer error that says "WWW.egameaddiction.com cannot be found." Then it give me a list of possible web sites. Or it will say "This page doesn't exist."
 
not sure why you get that problem dart.... I never have had a problem like that....
has anyone else?

Just an Update.... the upgrade probably won't be done today as planned. Its out of Beta... to the candidate release... but not fully tested / released.... so I am going to hold off just a bit longer. I misread their email that they sent.

Use Firefox. The only time to use IE is when for some reason a certain page wont load correctly on FF, but it's not that common.

You need to stop using IE Bv, its crap compared to FireFox. You know FireFox has more security and features than IE right? You could always use Opera as well, its the samething as Firefox..I think. Anyways, install FireFox and be done with it! Btw, why isn't Firefox your friend?

I run through 2 hardware firewalls, 1 anti-virus, and 1 software firewall.... I haven't had problems with anything in the last 1+ year :)

I hate to say it... but IE is the best for testing out sites ..etc.

Because most of them are built for IE. Since it's so widely used, developers just stick to its specific standards. But thats quickly changing, and it seems firefox is slipping. Quite a few bugs in it's latest release. Thats why I might just switch over to Opera.

I knew about it for a while, but wasnt interested since you had to pay for it. But now I like it. It just feels nice.
 
Oh yeah I did remember you did have to pay for Opera. You know they're were other ways of bypassing that right? I've seen tons of dl links for Opera that had no ads, etc.
