virtual console reccomendations?

Ok guys, PM between yourselves and resolve it; or ignore each other; the choice is yours. However, I don't want to see any more back-and-forth arguing in topics, as it just derails them.

OMG.
Cherry you better apologize for being born in 1992.
and BTW hines you can pick up Gunstar Super Heroes for about 10 bucks new.

Along with Super Metroid you might want to go ahead and download the original Metroid as well. Ninja Gaiden still kicks butt, and it was great to play Shining Force again. The N64 games are a mixed bag with Ocarina being the only clear 'must have' title (sorry Mario). Plus they eat up a lot of memory. I've only had the Wii for a few short months and I'm already relying on SD cards to store the majority of my downloaded games. The main reason I suspect are the four relatively monster-sized N64 games I purchased. Sooner or later the big 'N' is gonna have to address the system's paltry amount of memory (especially with Neo Geo games coming before year's end). Anyway, enjoy Super Metroid and maybe think about grabbing SFII 'Turbo, or you might want to pick up Ninja Spirit and Bloody Wolf those are really good too and well worth it at just 600 points a pop...

hey thanks vector, that was a huge help :)

it seems you know about the difference between the two SF2 versions, what is it? which is better?

Street Fighter II 'Turbo let's you fight as the four Boss characters and adds adjustable speeds. It also features extra moves and all the combos that attributed to the SFII legend. The character balance is perfect and there are a few great (but hard to learn) redizzy moves that are a blast to use. The World Warrior is a very basic version of Street Fighter with only eight fighters to choose from and one default speed which is just too slow and gives an awkward, 'floaty' feel to matches. Also, The World Warrior is lacking some of the best combos of the franchise because a surprising number of the signature moves weren't implemented until the 'Turbo edition. 'Turbo features Chun Li's fireball, Blanka's vertical roll, Ken and Ryu's mid-air hurricane kick, Dhalsim's teleport, and so on. The World Warrior? Eh, not so much. Along with 'Turbo's improved graphics and gameplay you can select another mode called Normal which is actually the Champion Edition of SFII. That's really two games for the price of one. Definitely go with 'Turbo...

it seems like world warrior is basically a joke compared to the other one! thank for the help man :)

k so will get

super metroid

and either gunstar heroes/street fighter 2 turbo

Ignore the original Metroid, it's already available in some four other ways. *counting* Three? Prime, Zero, and the original itself. Unless you can get it on Fusion, too, then three.
