weird thing on the Harry Potter: GOF commercial

you know... I don't read nor watch the Harry Potter series.... but I noticed something weird on the commercial. I was working on my laptop (school work) when I heard the song playing during the commercial. It particularly caught my ear because it sounded like one of the main songs from Pirates of the Caribbean. I looked up thinking it was a commercial for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie coming out... but noticed it was harry potter... and the song was SLIGHTLY different, but it was close at the beginning.

I don't know why... but that caught me as odd.... hopefully they weren't partially recycling that song.. as it is a cool song

Well, composers are hired for different movies, and they carry the same style with them. Of course, if they are talented, they have enough change between songs that you won't be able to tell too much. Maybe that slipped up or you have a very good ear.
