Well, I lost my senses and...

... Bought a Cube. ::D

I was strolling through the local videogame store with the intentions of picking up a DS game, and eneded up walking out with a Cube, three Cube games, a DS game (mission accomplished??) and an Xbox game.

The games I got were Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (Cuz the cover looked cool :D), The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/ Ocarina of Time Master Quest (Two games, one disk) and Megaman X7: Command Mission.

In all, I am glad that I finaly bought one even though the Revolution is just around the corner. The way I see it, I'll buy and play mass quantities of GC games and when it dies I'll have a Revolution to play them on!!

How much did you pay for it?

Oh yea buy Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door - best Cube game IMO

alright, cool, make sure to try out wind waker and a few other popular cube titles if you haven't already done so

You know, I just picked up the three games when I bought it. The only remorse is that the place I bought it only had the silver. But I was walking around Wally World and saw the black one for the same price!! I really wanted the black one because with the exception of my NES, N64 and PS1, everything else is black.

I saw Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door yesterday for like $25 or something. I'll try to pick it up next week because it does look like a cool game.

Price?? I paid $99 for it. I was gunning for a refurbished once for $59 because I didn't really want to pay full boat being that the Revolution is just around the corner. But oh well. I got a Cube!!

One title I thought was over looked on the cube was Viewtiful Joe, I recommend it, probably on the bottom of a bargain bin for $3

I did a similar thing a while back. Just as the 360 was ready to launch I bought a PS2. Why? Because of the hundreds of games already available for that system. RE4 is great on the 'Cube, but having the extra Ada story on PS2 was almost enough to justify the purchase all by itself (not to mention God Of War and MGS3). As much as I enjoy my 360 I have too many favorite gaming titles spread across multiple platforms to swear allegiance to only one console. The 'Cube was a smart purchase on your part. Enjoy the many great titles that system has to offer. Check out F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, and Eternal Darkness. Great Stuff!

Good point, buying cube games is great due to the fact you can keep them all if you move to Wii

I bought FF: Crystal Chronicals the other day for my cube. Sad thing is that all my systems are boxed up untill I get to my new house. :-[

I wasnt a big fan of that game, but i always wanted to try it again. Maybe because it was just TOO different

seriously, why did you get a new one? i mean, the wii's around the corner, i can understand wanting to game now - but save $40 and get the refurb.

bah - maybe you make tons of money - if thats the case, good job supporting nintendo! they dont make any money when you buy a refurb! but, to me, I'd certainly rather have $40 than a box and a few twist ties. its not like its more likely to break as a refurb i mean, come on, its a cube!

I second the Metroid Prime recommendation. That game is awesome.

If you like rpgs, Tales of Symphonia and Fire Emblem are awesome.

yes, third that metroid prime suggestion, and spice it up with a bit of REmake and RE4 suggestions. Also, RE 0 if you really liked REmake.
