Welp, looks like im staying in Mississippi

As you may already know, I've been staying in Mississippi for the last three weeks to see my family here. Thats all it was at first. A visit. But now my dad is blasting that he wants us to stay here. Hes having a huge fight with my mom right now about it. Im all for staying, but my mom and sis arent. They have a life and friends in Washington (Where I came from) so they dont want to stay here. I mean, Mississippi is the bomb, but they dont wanna stay. Its going to be a life changing decision either way if I stay or go. Its horrible. If I go back to WA, my dad will be miserable and angry for the rest of his life and may not talk to us again. But if we stay (Which I want to do) my sis will have to throw her life in WA away, only being able to visit there seems to not be enough for her. You know, I just wanted to blast about that...it sucks...

I live in California...I like California. I'm glad I have the decision making ability to choose where I want to live. I got lucky my parents only moved us around a few times before I turned 18. Now they want to move to Oklahoma. Hell no. I am not moving to Oklahoma.
 
Well, there is a bright side to all of this. I might get an Xbox :D
 
Kinda sucks Boom. Been there, done that when I was growing up. Mom lived in Arizona, dad lived in California. But with me I hated California.
 
Man, that sounds like a lot of hard choices...and folk's fighting and either you or your sis having to be unhappy..it all sounds like a mess. I sure hope stuff works out nicely for ya..whatever choice your folks make.

That is the strangest thing I've ever heard. I always imagined it as the ghetto infested stinkpot of the nation's underbelly.

This statement coming from a fourteen year old. Kids learn the wrong things these days. Oh well. They'll get their asses handed to em eventually by someone they say the wrong thing to =\

Not all 14 year olds are as stereotypical as you may think. It's a true statement. Over 80% of crimes are by african-americans in the south.
