Hi Addicts,

The console that impressed me the most(some members might think I'm am insane)was the "SNES".

The game that impressed me the most would have to be "Dragon Warrior III" for the "NES"

God Bless,
MR.KAZ

though my favorite console is the ps1 the DS is the console that impresses me the most thanks to the Touch screen which can actually alter gameplay and not make it just an useless gimmick

the most impressive game for me is Tales of symphonia

The console that impressed me most was the N64, and the game that impressed me most was Ocarina Of Time.

Hi x2,

Did you have any problems catching the "Hylian Loach"?

I never caught it myself, but I watched a buddy catch it a long, long, time ago. I have no idea what he did, or how he caught it, though. Were you ever able to catch it?

out of all the systems that wowed and amazed me. Still, would have to be the Super NES. I maybe a Sega fan boy, but after all the add-ons for Genesis, the Super NES still placed some of the most ground breaking games of it's time and nurtured a growing RPG fanbase. Donkey Kong Country still looks excellent to this very day.

Probably the Xbox with its online play... and system link play too. Completely changed how I look at video games.

GATIV made a huge impression on me. I played it, loved it, and thought "WOW! This is what all games should be! Great SP and MP, funny, full of details."
And
Gears of War raised the bar on what I expected from a game graphically. I still remember gawking at the gorgeous graphics.

Oh man, probably the Dreamcast. The VMU's were awesome...and were basically a handheld game by themselves when you took them out. I specifically remember leveling up my Chaos from Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on them while I was waiting in line at different places. Also, the graphics were awesome for the time, and it just had an overall feel unlike anything I've ever played.

The game that impressed me the most was a game called Silver, which is now my favorite game of all time. The way it brought that fantasy atmosphere to me was unlike any game I'd ever played before.

I agree with that, but for more for what console made the biggest impression on me as a gamer.

On the other hand, what console impressed me the most (totally different question in my mind)...I'd still have to say the original DS. When I first heard about it, I thought Nintendo had finally lost it. I was like WTH, a handheld with a two screens, one of them a touch screen? It wasn't until I actually got to see it in action that I was convinced of its worthiness.

yeah Xbox Live, being the first to perfect voice chat on a console system was really impressive. I remember playing Phantasy Star Online on Xbox and I really wished that the GameCube edition would have something like that. I know SOCOM on PS2 launched the same month and year, same features. Yet, Xbox Live wasn't focused on just one game, being able to send voice messages to other people was ground-breaking. Halo 2 pretty much birthed the future of Xbox Live with the tons of features it added. Which you can now see, why 360 borrows many ideas from that concept.
