What do you think about my new store?

I am looking into *MAYBE* switching stores... please see below and tell me what you think.

www.egameaddiction.com/store is my current store.... I like it, many others do as well for the simplicity sake..etc.

Or Do you like this better?

The only problem with site #2..... I would have to have a redirect page
somewhere....  For Example, you would go to: www.egameaddiction.com/shop and the page
that loads would redirect you to the shopping cart within 3 seconds. What do
you think about that? I do not like that idea, but there would be no way
around it. The URL for that cart..... cannot be change :(
It is in rudimentary form... so do not be too creitical on the visuals yet. There
are a lot more options... IE the newsletter is direct through the cart.
People will get automatic emails of when their product is shipped, plus a lot more.
There are 3 products added right now... so you can see the cart in action.

but then again.. I like the simplicity of my www.egameaddiction.com/store
site (as do many other people).... but the product takes longer to add here... and that is my #1
concern. I have 1000 products still to add to my cart.

I do not want to keep moving around... especially for the customers sake.... that is another reason why I am leary of moving.... but at the same time.... I am looking for a faster way to get more product on my cart.

well.. you get pictures of my items on my current site as well.... they are just in the product information link (orange link). Thats the 1 thing I don't like.... is how the pictures are displayed next to the name.... but some people do like that.

this cart is just a lot faster for me on adding products... thats why I am considering it.

You don't think getting redirected (after 3 seconds) would be a bad thing?

Thats what I was going to say, it accually has pcitures.

Not much of a change but, i think you should change, it may reduce the "scam theroy"
Also the e-mail thing would be nice, in case is doesn't reseave it right, or didn't come through

The 3 second redirect isn''t that bad. If it were say, a minute or more, no way. But 3 seconds would barely be noticable to most people. I mean honestly, do think you are going to get an email for somebody saying "OMG!!! IT TAKES THREE EXTRA SECONDS TO GET TO YOUR SITE! NO WAY AM I BUYING ANYTHING FROM YOU!"

Actually, that would be funny. :lol

i really like the second site........the only problem i see if the redirect, which isnt really that bad.........so im all for it

Didn't you say you had tons of games that no one even knew you had because you hadn't had time to list them online?

If that's the case, you should go for #2, since it lets you get more product out there.

A bit unrelated, but I noticed Metal Slug Advance listed...is that really already out?

yes.... due to my time limitations I have over 1000 products still to add (minimum).

Fortunatly, an item doesn't have to be in your store for us to try to ask for it. Speaking of that, any news on Halo PC?

I definitely like the look of #2 better. Looks a lot more professional, and I'd feel more comfortable buying from a site that looks like it doens't need my money :D. Definitely worth the redirect time.
