What do you want to see in the Revolution?

Online! First and third party. But especially Nintendo games like Mario Kart.

Standard media size for easier porting and bigger games.

More color options for the console.

Wavebirds or the next wave (no pun intended) of Wavebirds. But they should also have the same amount of buttons as the other two.

More original IPs. And give a few franchises a break for a generation. That will make them fresher when they come back. Like how Metroid Prime was.

Launch with a Mario title, but make it worth it.

Full surround sound support and HD support. Yay for pretties!

That's about all I can think of at the moment. But I'm sure some of you have some ideas too. :) Feel free to chime in.

I don't want to see it released for at least another 2 years. :p

But I agree that it needs a BIG game on launch, either Mario or Zelda.

Online gaming doesn't mean squat to me so I really don't care one way or another if they have it or not.
I would like to see a real good wireless controller for it...I have a feeling wireless controllers will be standard and the only option (no other controller ports).

It would be nice if Wireless controllers came with rechargeable batteries, otherwise I'd take the regular kind. And a new controller design as well.

One VERY crucial thing I forgot to mention:

Backwards compatibility with the GC!

Also, it would be cool if it was still compatible with the Gameboy Player.

here is what I wrote to Nintendo about backward compatibility:
This is in regards to the Nintendo Revolution.

Basically.... make it backward compatible to the NES.

Of course you would make it (disc wise) backward compatible to the
Gamecube.... that is a given and needed to the next Nintendo.... but don't
stop there.
Then add a N64 port on the back or somewhere that allowed you to play N64
games (standard on the system), AND a GBAdvance/GameBoy/Gameboy Color /DS
player  standard on the system as well.

AFTER THAT.... You could market a $29-39.99  adaptor (Nintendo brand... so
it would have the Nintendo seal of quality) that would allow you to play
Snes and Nes games.  This adaptor would work with the N64 port.

I honestly believe that if Nintendo took that idea... they would have a smashing hit of a system... as long as killer new games came out. There would be unlimited marketing potential there (or at least limited to Nintendo's marketing ideas).

What do I want to see on the revolution.... just more good stuff.  AND for 3rd party companies to get off their lazy butts.  Yes, I really think 3rd parties are lazy (not all though).  EA comes to mind.

Other companies need to get over the kiddy thing and just make games.  They are losing out on profits.  They can argue what ever they want.... but truely.... it comes down to... DO YOU WANT MORE MONEY IN YOUR WALLET OR NOT BECAUSE I AM NOT BUYING THE GAME UNLESS ITS ON THE GAMECUBE :lol :)    I will never support 3 systems.... there is just not enough time in my day / year.

Store wise, I'll sell anything though.
