What Fighter Series Do You Think Is The Best?

I would agree. Tekken is awesome. But, so is Soul Caliber (Soul Blade for the first), and Dead or Alive. There's one other that's well known, but I can;'t quite put my finger on it... oh yeah! Mortal Kombat!
 
STREET FIGHTER!! I knew I missing something. I never got to play much of Virtual Fighter... I know its good, but, ones opinion can't be based upon a demo.

If had to pick the toughest "Fighter" it would be the "Mortal Kombat" series.You have to be Speedy Gonzales in order to pull off some "Fatalities".

That just reminded me.None of us has mentioned "Killer Instinct"!
Are they making a new one?
 
Hate to be the oddball here but i like super smash brothers and the VS series quite a lot..... probably because they are easy to pick up and play.

I'm sorry but my inner fighter just has to disagree. Mortal Kombat isn't hard at all. It really never was. It takes no technical skill to be good at it.

As for Killer Instinct, I would say that it is alittle bit above Mortal Kombat for the simple fact that it is fun.
 
I would have to go with, Samurai Shodown, Last Blade, King of Fighters series, and then maybe Soul Blade or Tekken.
 
Mortal Kombat. Everything isn't about "skill". Mortal Kombat still remains to be the fighting game that I find is the most fun.
 
hmmm probley first would be Tekken followed closely by Street Fighter but i do like other seires like guilty gear, soul calibur and king of fighters
