Don't have a particular favorite but DC or Alan Moore is good for me. I also liked Mad Love. (Harley Quinn's comic=amazing)
 
Civil War? is that what Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is after. Which reminds me, I have 3 Digital Comics. I might get into Comics since they are bringing them to the PSN.
 
I think that I asked this before,some time ago.
I heard that the companies that make these comics keep a copy of every one printed.Is this true?If so,I can only imagine what the first issue of "Action Comics" in mint condition would fetch on E-Bay! :lol

Kaz you would probably endup with a lawsuit and much lower bid then you expect first the lawsuit if they can find any sort of flaw or imperfection in a comic book it's not consider mint as matter of fact the over whelming majority of stuff sent to dealers don't meet the level of quality of required for mint at the time of production. The 2nd problem is alot of the collectors that would bid on this sort of high end item won't unless you have good established selling history with comics.
 
Not to mention the big fat "Reprint" on the inside cover. And both the original and reprint release dates.

True although from what I have heard it's the 2nd most reprinted comic book in the world after X-men #1.

Yeah I do and I'm guessing Dart does too judging by his reprint comment.
Although maybe I didn't word things the best. The price range is the same as I thought it would be what I was getting at before is you porbably think you have 200k-300k comic book and you would be lucky to clear 100k just because people are going to be doubtful about the condition, you might get lucky though and acouple of superman fanboys on there that will drive the price way up.

I understand what you mean now after putting it that way.
I guess ultimately,value is relative.If someone wants it bad enough,they'll pay.
 
I never really read comics, but my ex-boyfriend did so I went to Comic-Con a couple of years. I did however like Usagi Yojimbo, which is a comic by Stan Sakai. I got to meet him, got a signed first edition from him and a drawing. It was very cool.
