What's in your name??

Curiosity gas gotten to me.
What caused everyone to pick their names?? As in the names you go by here??

With me, it's because of my favorite RPG, Legend of Dragoon. The main character's name is Dart.

Now, how did eveyone here pick theirs??
 
It's my aim screenname, lol..

aleeock is the first thing that popped in my head after I asked myself... "If I were a screenname, what wouldn't I be?" and 157 is the last 3 digits of my school ID# (001157)
 
I have two reasons for mine...

Sparta= Ancient Greek city-state (known for kicking butt)
Spartan= Inhabitant of said city state (known for following strict guidelines and being tough)
Evolved= Better

So, I am better than a Spartan

Also,
Spartans are super soldiers from Halo, and Evolved is in the original's subtitle.
 
My favorite band is Metallica so I just chose this name. I didnt really give it much thought since I really dont care what my screenname is.
 
My first name I ever chose for pc gaming was Ares. (God of War in Greek Mythology) I was playing a FPS game, forget which one though.... I just have used it ever since

and 23 was my my number given to me when I was 4 to play soccer, and I have kept it ever since.
 
I have a reputation for telling people what to do. One day a friend said, "yes, sir, sarge." Because my nickname is woodsy, it went on from there.
 
I have 3 main nicknames: SinisterHiryu, Bman409, and SkyZinne.

Bman409: My first online name ever! It was my nickname at school, but they usually call me "B." This name debut in the good 'ol Quake 2 game. Bv, knows 'bout my skills.

SinisterHiryu: I had a buddy with the name of "SinisterSamurai" and I really liked how he put that together with samurai. I came up with "Hiryu" from the game "Stider", its an old Capcom game and the main characters name is "Strider Hiryu" one of the coolest character designs ever! So yeah..I stole "Sinister" from my frind and "Hiryu" from Capcom.

SkyZinne: Made this one up when I was trying to register an online name for NFSU, I was looking to use a name with the word "Skyline" in it since it was my favorite car at the time but it was tooken and I didn't really want any numbers once again in my name like my Bman name. So I just took out the "L" and added an extra "N" and it all came to glory.

Um, cuz you're a big fan of Wham??

My other nickname online is ScrmngChicken403.
Mainly cuz people called my car The Chicken in highschool. And the bird on the hood was the "screaming chicken." And the 403 is the cubic inch displacement of the 6.6 litre Olds engine that's residing under the hood.
